What is the Hulk Stack?

The Hulk Stack is a multi-peptide research formulation supplied as a single pre-mixed liquid vial containing two established research peptides — CJC-1295 with DAC and ipamorelin (20mg total). Both are studied within the growth-hormone (somatotropic) axis, but they act at different receptors, which is precisely why they are examined as a pair rather than individually.

The two components
- CJC-1295 — a synthetic analogue of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), the endogenous signal that acts on the GHRH receptor. It is studied as a probe for GHRH-receptor binding and downstream signalling.
- Ipamorelin — a selective growth-hormone secretagogue that acts at the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a), a separate receptor from the GHRH receptor. It is noted in the literature for its selectivity, which is why it appears often as a comparison compound in receptor-specificity work.
Two receptors, one experimental system
This is the mechanistic point of the pairing. Because GHRH analogues and ghrelin-receptor secretagogues engage distinct receptors on distinct pathways, combining them in a single system lets researchers examine questions neither compound answers alone:
- whether the two signalling routes behave additively, synergistically, or independently when present together
- how receptor cross-talk presents within the somatotropic axis
- how a selective secretagogue behaves alongside a releasing-hormone analogue under standardised conditions
Supplying both in one pre-mixed vial removes a variable: the ratio is fixed and identical across every batch, so comparisons between runs are not confounded by preparation differences.
What "with DAC" actually means
This is the detail most often glossed over, and it is the reason CJC-1295 exists in two forms.
DAC stands for Drug Affinity Complex — a modification that lets the peptide bind reversibly to serum albumin. Albumin is abundant and long-lived, so a molecule tethered to it clears far more slowly than one circulating freely. In research terms:
- CJC-1295 with DAC has a substantially extended half-life, making it the relevant form for studies concerned with prolonged or sustained receptor exposure.
- CJC-1295 without DAC (written No DAC, and closely related to the sequence often labelled modified GRF 1-29) clears quickly, making it the relevant form for studies concerned with short, pulsatile exposure profiles.
Neither form is "better" — they answer different questions. The Hulk Stack uses the DAC form. If your design calls for the short-acting profile instead, the standalone CJC-1295 (No DAC) is the one to look at. This distinction is worth checking whenever you source either form, because vendors do not always label which one they are shipping.
